About Moses I
The Voice of Roots and Unity
Born Anthony Singh in Kingston, Jamaica, Moses I grew up in the Rastafarian heartlands of Papine and August Town, where the rhythm of reggae and the spirit of faith shaped his path.
Emerging in the late 1980s, he brought a powerful blend of roots, dancehall, and spiritual energy to the stage — a sound that soon carried him beyond Jamaica’s shores.
From his breakout collaboration with Capleton on “Crazy Look” to his latest release “Di Glama”, Moses I continues to uplift souls through music that speaks of peace, justice, and unity.
Through his label Livon Music, he remains devoted to the mission of reggae — using sound as a force for healing, consciousness, and love.
